The Deal Speaking Up Group are working alongside Deal Town Council Transport committee to identify 3 locations for pedestrian crossings.

Sondes Road to the Seafront
In a supposedly pedestrian friendly environment, each of the sites do not meet pedestrian needs in key parts of the town. In particular, the crossing near Deal Castle which has been in discussion for some years, would enable access to the Captains Garden from the English Heritage car park, at present given the amount of traffic it is extremely difficult to cross the road.
Golf Road Surgery
Longer Surgery Hours
Local residents have asked for our help getting St Richards Road surgery to increase the working hours at the Golf Road Centre.
The Deal Speaking Up Group have produced an open letter addressed to the partners of St Richard's Road Surgery requesting more surgery hours.
The letters have a section for local residents of North Deal to sign, these letters will be sent to the partners of St Richard's Road Surgery in due course.
